At DHS, the science program has been a huge part of the school for as long as any of us students can remember. We're
involved in Science Olympiad, Science Fair, Science Bowl, MESA, WERC, and NMJAS Paper Contest. Unfortunately, participation
in many of these programs has drastically diminished since the loss of our sponsor, Mr. Steve Goodgame. Many of the same students
are involved in more than one of these programs, so some parents have formed a "Science Boosters" club, in which they plan
ways to raise money for our various science programs. Says our sponsor, Mr. David Wertz, about the science program: "It's
the BEST."
